So in hopes of not sounding so sad and sorry---it's this Holiday that I dread most
well for the last 2 years anyway...This Sunday is Mother's day...and that's when I miss my sweet
Mom the most. She died 2 years ago of bone cancer and well I wish we still had those
days - or maybe just one moment...but I know she is at peace and no longer in pain and because I know that I am o.k. with that. sort of....
anyway, even though she's gone I still find myself making her cards for her birthday and Christmas & now a mother's day card. I gotta tell you I am seeing my shabby style here alot lately...it seems to be sticking around. Super happy it has been here...
what do you think?
i think she would love it!
no stamping really except for some inked edges...
I actually wanted to try and use some fabric on my card and felt seemed liked
the easiest to try and a heart an easy shape to cut.
Well in case I don't see you again this week...I sure hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!!!
I sure plan too.
I am linking this card up to the following challenges:
kaboodle doodles - MOM
forever friends - spring
