no not your HAIR...
Valentines day is one of those holidays that I don't have a box filled
with decorations that I take out and put out every year.
I kind of wing it and make NEW stuff each year...but this year I wanted
to start making some "YEARLY" decorations...
so here is my first up-do - {re-do}
I bought these frosted glass votives at a yard sale for 50 cents each and they were
nice enough as they were but I decided to add some paint
and a little LOVE to them
here is what I started out with:
vases - MS red paint for glass - sponge dauber - & some punch outs
oh yeah and to make it easier I decided using stickers(the negative)
Here is what came out after I took the negative parts of the stickers off
except for the centers -- see the white goop left from the stickers - don't panic
it comes off pretty easily...at least that what my hubby said (wink& smile)
But hey - for a little bit of effort - here you go a fun set of votives
of which I can keep year after year...
Yeah me - what have you been up to?
Leave me a comment and I will come by and visit you...
I am linking this up to the following parties:
have a fab night

Hi Tina, your votives turned out so nice! I really think you did a good job on them and I love how you used the negative part of the stickers as a stencil! I've mostly been up to cooking, but I need to finish my Valentine banner! I'm going to write a new post after this, so give me a few minutes before you come by. Thanks for sharing! Blessings from Bama!
Love how this turned out, what awesome decorations for Valentine's Day!
Very Cute! I think I might be able to do this or at least give it a good try. Thanks
