The only stamping done on this card is the sentiment, which is by

corosive challenges - button it up
delightful sketches - have a heart
sisterhood of crafters - anything goes
spoonful of sugar - valentine creatons

Scrappy date

Hey there - thought I would share a sweet and simple
pick me up for your traditional calendar...
I know don't drop to your knees in absolute cuteness with these.

I have these calendars listed in my ebay shop and I thought I would share some cool ideas

If you have a job - a regular - out of th house job - in a cubicle or with a desk area
then how cute would this Dress-y calendar look in your office

you can add a stand or a magnet depending on how your space is designed.

O.k. to get started all you need to do is get a cereal box and cut out your design and then
modge podge your paper to the front and back
then go to town decking out your dress or in the other case
your house>>>>use up all those cool scraps you are hoarding saving and all the extra cute doodads...

I know super cute right???
this would be a sweet gift to give a girlfriend moving in to a new house...
but can you see the possibilitites?/
you can cut out any design you want and just plop on this ordinary caendar
easy peasy - and not to shabby.

oh you could make quite a few of these in a snap really..

enjoy -
if you are interested in these templates - just leave a comment and I will send those over to you likety split...

Sew LOVEly

Valentines Day is just around the corner and I decided to make some really cute
paper garlands - let me tell you this is beyond easy...
All you need is a heart punch (the bigger the better) paper and a sewing machine...

I used double sided paper for these but you could use single sided paper and then just sew to circle back to back...
*Punch out a bunch and I mean a bunch of hearts...the more hearts the longer your garland will be.
* then just start sewing the hearts together on the machine - just remember not to cut them after each one just keep sewing leaving a little space between each one...super simple and easy.
Allow yourself some extra thread in the front of the garland and at the end for hanging...
My garland measure around 8 feet tall.

try it-it's easy...

O.k. now if you like this and don'twat to make your own then I have this up in my etsy shop for sale...

Scrap a Favorite

So keeping up with my goals and getting my scrap on this year...
I think I am going to add a new monthly selection called
SCRAP A FAVORITE
In essence - I will be scrapping some of my favorite things...
keeps me interested and is based on one subject
easy to get done.

O.k. now in case, you can't tell my first layout of 2011 - is of my true all time fave
STARBUCKS coffee - my winter fave is
EGG NOG CHAI - venti - no foam - yuuum!!!
Before you condemn me - let me explain
I used to work at starbucks so I know how to make my favorite drink and can do it at home so the cost is no where near what it costs to buy it in the store....
yeah!** better for me

I use actual paper products from Starbucks and a recent photo I took of my fave "winter" drink and used some Jenni Bowlin papers and embellishments...
and got a cool vintage looking themed layout...
love it

would love to see what you have and perhaps link up back here and share some cool layouts you may have done recently.

Here's to getting your scrap on!

bunny's 3

I have 3 for 1 today...
I took an adorable bunny love mage from my GRAFICO
and decided to play along with a few challenges with this first card:
didn't this come out super cute?
I think she's sweet
I used 2 different DPs (by tim holtz)  for the base
matted miss bunny on red CS then added the ric rak and 2 flowers to finish it off...
the sentiment is from Stamps of Life

This card works for the following challenges:
paper scissors rocks - #12 flowers - #17 2 DP
craft your passion - tie one on - ribbon
cupcake craft challenges - something new (the image)
not to shabby right?

The next couple of cards just wanted to change things up a bit...

changed up the colors on this here bunny
only used one sheet of DP
and a couple of flowers and changed the sentiment
I think this could work for a boy or a girl...

Awww...I know super sweet in purples and yellows...totally spring!
I think I was hoping to be able to get more done in one sitting.
Use up an image more than once...
I think I may make this my new mantra...instead of 1 card try at least 2 maybe even three

Didn't take long really.
Just by changing up the colors of the DP
and some of the embellishments and I got 3 similar but very different cards.
tah-dah...

Hope you like them.

By the way just had to share this great news....
I was featured over on
her valentine round up
my tickets from yesterday...
woohoo!!! check it out if you have a chance - she's got a great blog too.

Have a geat day

Stamped with LOVE

Happy Monday Folks
Been busy in the studio making up these very cool tickets....
I took some  blank tickets (pictured above) and some cool LOVE inspired stamps
my favorite inks and got busy....

Aren't they perfect for the Valentine's Day Holiday coming up?

These would be cute to add to the fronts of cards or attach to a sweet little lollipop
 for your kids friends.

They'd make a great border for your scrapbook pages, too.

Sweet dontch'a think?

If you are interested in making your own or want some of these...I have all the supplies and finished products up in my etsy shop...have fun

I am linking this up to

Happy LOVE creating....

CARDS OF 2010

As I am picking through my favorite cards for the 2010 year - I noticed that I am leaning to a style of card I don't normally make - which is the shabbyish, girly, muted tones, vintage inspired type of cards. I could be going into a new direction here in my card making and scrapbooking...seems exciting.

How is your creativity flowing this year so far?
