Pretty in Pink

I know I have said this before but I think I need to kick up my cardmaking
My cards are so one dimensional! usually pretty flat...and not to much in way
of layout...always the same and getting on my last creative nerve.
I have been clearing out my stamps - because I really want to start making more
sophisticated cards...by that I mean NOT so kid-like!
I just got the newest issue of paper crafts magazine and OMG the
ideas are really flowing....who knew the possibilities -
I did, but can't figure it out on my own obviously.
Well, here is my first attempt at a less childlike card...
I used lots of pinks and a rub-on (which is very child like_ geez...)
But I used a new stamp set by Paper try ink (Doilies and their matching dies) to add
some cute to the card and left it pretty simple
I did follow a sketch - of which I tend to shy away from but this one was easy
it's by Bloggers Challenge (link @ bottom)
Hope you like it.

Have a fabulous Monday!

I am linking this up to:

Your card is lovely. You did a great job using the sketch and the pretty flower element works really well for your focal point.
Stop being so hard on yourself. It's great that you are "branching" out of your comfort zone. Hope you'll join the Blogger Challenge again this week. Happy Stamping!
