Just had to share

I wanted to share this really cool website -
A few days ago, I was contacted by a representative from MemoryScrapbooks.com. I looked around their site and learned that they have a lot of cool and quality products that you can use to embellish your scrapbooking hobby.

The first thing that caught my attention was that they carry Pioneer Scrapbooks and Pioneer Photo Albums. Pioneer is a great name brand that is well recognized by those who are involved with the craft of scrapbooking. Their products are long lasting and look great among many scrapbooking themes.

I also noted that they offer photo album refill pages for every single model of scrapbook or photo album that they carry, which is very helpful if you do a lot of scrapping. They also have a number of other items to help you out like glue sticks, glue runners, acid-free adhesives, stickers, craft scissors, red-eye remover pens, plus many other great items.

I strongly suggest that you go and take a look. If you do, make sure that you let them know that Tina sent you.
visit them at their website:  MemoryScrapbooks.com

O.k - I'm off to finish working on thi really cool little gift set for some challenges...talk to you later...

Sassafrass Lass

Another super cute image from SOFT PENCIL that we got last week.
Love Love Love this little girl.
The papers were my inspiration in coloring this cute chick.
This is from a paper stack by sassafrass...
I made this on a big 5 x 5 card and left the accents to simple pearls...
I made this card with these 3 challenges in mind:
craftypad - simply pearls
stamp with us - color challenge
I hope you like it and I hope you are having a creative start to your week.

Halloween Friday

Good Friday to you!
So this week's challenge over at the CSAYL blog was NOT
to make a Christmas card. I know can you believe it?
But I must admit a refreshing spin away from Christmas cards - is fun and especially since we are being sponsored by Soft Pencil

Isn't my little witch just too cute...

Be sure to play along this week since you have the chance to win
a 10.00 gift from Soft pencil if you are chosen the lucky winner.

Well don't forget to check out the CSAYL blog #62 this week and see what the other
DT members have created.

Have a great weekend

Thank you

Good Morning to you...

I got this other wonderful DIGI from DeeDee's and wouldn't you know it
it worked well for the challenges I was trying to play with this week...

cupcake craft challenge - blue & green colors
craft your passion - make your own flowers

So the sketch is a little off but really close, the colors I used are blue green and yellow
from a mat stack by minds eye...pretty huh?
I created my own flowers using some dies from quickutz and just crinkled and layered them to
create the flowers on the right hand corner. Cute.

I hope you are keeping yourself busy in the midst of this horrible heat wave -
or is that just here in SOCAL???

Have a fabulous day.

I don't do SAD

I had trouble with this card.
I couldn't find the right image or the right words
to add to this sympathy card.
Like I said
I don't do sad.
I always think...there isn't much to really SAY to someone
who has lost someone special.
I wonder if a hug really makes a difference either.
Because after you go through something like that
and you hear over and over again
Sorry for your loss and receive a hug
I think it all begins to blur together (the faces and moments)

I speak from experience...

I think I will stick to what I am good at.
Making bright HAPPY cards.

This card works for the daisy doodles challenge this week-cream & yellow

I sure hope your day is wonderful.

saying GoodBye

to summer that is...

Heehee
Isn't this the cutest card to help say goodbye to summer.
A nice pitcher of something cold..I'm imagining some icy cold
margaritas...but it could also pass for lemonade
It was a busy summer and a fun one
but I gotta say I am happy and eagerly awaiting FALL
I long for jackets and hot eggnog chai latte's from starbucks...yummm

I sure hope you all had a fantastic summer and created some wonderful memories

Here's to a new school year and a an even better, memory filled
winter holiday ahead of us.

Belated fluttering

Well Happy hello and almost Thursday morning...

I used this super cute image from squigglefly (i think) and cut her out and added
some cute letter die cuts for the word happy and some super cute
overly used prima flowers on this card. Made it very simple but
still cute - I think this would be a cute card for a little girl...
or someone that makes you happy...

This card works for the challenge over at
pink elephant - summer fun

Hope you like it and don't forget to check out the flutterby design team and see
what spectacular beauty they came up with this week.

This weeks challenge over at the CSAYL blog was a gift set challenge.
This was so super easy. I have so many cool ideas running through my mind

and see what the other designers have created
and hey why not try it out for yourself.
O.k. now I am off to Vegas for our last "family" hoorah before school starts on Monday
