I wanted to stop and say 
Having fun on our vacation -its only our second day and we are all in good spirits. A few minor fights but for the most part we are all glad to be away and spending our days int he pool.
This is my first try at playing in the Monday Mojo Challenge - I am super happy with my card and look forward to trying again - I used a new stamp from Inky Impressions called LILI's Secret...and some MM papers - I changed the sketch up a bit but still am thrilled with it!

I know this is super silly but this bouncy chair has been around since my little guy was born. It is what we put him in to while I cooked, or to play in (it used to have a play bar) and then as he got older it's where we fed him and up until a month ago he ran there at every meal waiting to be fed. It's pretty stinky and tattered and now sits by the trash waiting for trash day.
Here he is taking one last seat in his chair - way to big for it anymore for sure.

This weeks challenge was INSIDE AND OUT meaning you had to finish the inside of the card as well. I had trouble with this only because I never - I mean never do the inside. I see so many talented ladies sharing the insides of their cards and they are amazing...
I am wishing you all the best weekend. I hope it is free of chaos, free of antagination (is that word?) free of unwanted loudness, free of hurried actions, free of headaches - I hope you can just BE - alone or with your loved ones. Sometimes when the world spins I feel my life fall from its axis...I guess I am feeling that today - while it was fun - it still feels a little off...so I hope you have a FREE weekend and are able to do something that makes YOU feel good, maybe make a card or sit and scrapbook or better yet make some yummy cupcakes or go out and slurp up an ice cream cone...

You know all those scraps laying around in your scrap pile...well I have a ton - pulled a few out of which I may add are not exactly flattering together.
I have been wanting to share these cuties with you for a long time. I made a bunch of these pinwheels to use them to attach to scrapbook pages or maybe some card fronts.
I used the K & CO bohemian paper pak (my scraps) to make these and added a coordinating brad in the center - they are around the size of a quarter - so super small but make a great embellishment. Check it out on my scrapbook page below[
This weeks challenge was to NOT use a stamped image and while I thought this was going to be an easy thing to do - it wasn't. I had trouble looking for things christmas related and well - that didn't look, just thrown together. 
So while this is ChristmasY - I think it works for the challenge but I am not to fond of this card. It does make me think that I need to go beyond the norm...I need to try using more "THINGS" other than stamps to try and make a card...it is a new frontier for me. A new level on the playing field.

Made those stars last weekend and attached them to some skewers - used not so traditional colors...turquoise, red and white...bought the cup at Target filled it with rice added a matching bow and a sentiment I printed off the computer added a picture of my mom and my kids and almost done...
I am always looking for new stamps and when I find them on SALE - well I just have to buy a few. Here is a set of stamps (2) that were on sale and didn't go together - I plan on using the sentiment with another cool sale stamp I bought...I think this chick is cool and well her clothes and hat say it all. I went a little nuts with the coloring - choosing the colors- that is. Not exactly, understated but then again neither am I.
